Damion Dice

Damion Dice is a Jamaican-born artist and songwriter who grew up in Falmouth Trelawny and later moved to Central Village St. Catherine to live with his father. From a young age, Dice turned to music to escape his surroundings and began writing poems and song lyrics on anything he could find. At 14, he started battling other artists in school and around his community, which led to the formation of his own record label, Village Cage, with his friend Max da producer. After gaining neighborhood fame, Dice made a solo move to the heart of the Jamaican underground reggae dancehall scene under the Black Blintz banner. Unfortunately, the scene turned dangerous after the 2007 election, and Dice migrated to the US, where he joined the Navy for five years while still writing and recording music and sharing it on Soundcloud and YouTube. After an honorable discharge in April of 2017, Damion Dice is now internationally ready to hit the road as a "veteran" hungry for the spotlight. His unique background and experiences have undoubtedly influenced his music, which fans can hear on his Spotify profile.
